“Biden Breaks Record, But Stays Silent: U.S. Oil Production Reaches New Heights

The United States has recently hit a new all-time high for its oil production, with 2021 being the most productive year on record. While this milestone has been overlooked in the mainstream, it has become an important part of President Biden’s policy. The Biden administration aims to transition towards renewable energy sources such as wind and solar, however, this will take some time. In the meantime, the US oil production has undergone an unexpected resurgence. Despite the global pandemic and the resulting economic recession, the US was still able to make major advances in both its onshore and offshore oil production. The US is now producing more than ever before, with an estimated total of 13.3 million barrels per day (BPD). This is the highest rate of production since 1970, when the US achieved the average daily production of 10.8 million barrels per day many of the world’s major crude producers such as Iran, Iraq, and Mexico. The Biden administration has made efforts to reduce its reliance on oil and encourage the nation’s shift towards renewable energy sources. Unfortunately, the fact that the oil production rate has been so impressive has gone largely unnoticed. Even though this milestone could have been a great opportunity for the president to showcase his commitment to more sustainable and renewable energy sources, it has been largely ignored. The US’ oil production rate is expected to continue to increase in the months to come. This will require both public and private funding, as well as new infrastructure investments. It is essential to keep in mind, however, that the Biden administration’s agenda still remains firmly focused on renewable energy. Biden and his team of climate experts will be following an “all of the above energy” policy, which will strive to bring America closer to a carbon-neutral future. In conclusion, the US has recently made impressive advances in its oil and gas production and is now achieving record production numbers. While this has not been given any special attention, it is important to keep in mind that the Biden administration has made a commitment to transitioning the nation away from fossil fuel consumption, redirecting funds and resources towards a more sustainable and renewable energy future.
